Sutlej Diaries – Birding at Phillaur – Part 5
On March 2, 2019, I went again birding near Sutlej on my Motorcycle. The day had a solid start with the sightings of an Oriental Honey Buzzard, Pied Bushchat and a Eurasian Marsh Harrier (no photographs).
On this short trip, I focused on some common species like Indian Roller and Pied Bushchat.
On the way, I found some interesting species which I recorded for the first time in Phillaur – Grey-headed Canary Flycatcher, Red-breasted Flycatcher and Yellow Wagtail.
Another species which finally managed to capture was Plain Martin.
